IGS-1608SM-16PH is a managed, industrial grade, L2 Gigabit PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch that provides 16x 10/100/1000Base-T ports plus 8x 100/1000Base-X SFP ports with up to 16 ports of 30 Watt PoE, total power budget of 400 Watt (48VDC). The PoE features enable power and data to be transferred via a single cable to considerably reduce cabling and electrical wiring expenses. Also, the advances PoE managed supports auto test and auto reset for PD fault-tolerant recovery and reducing operational expenses.
Unlike commercial switch, IGS-1608SM-16PH have IP30 rated metal casing design, 4KV surge protection for PoE, RJ45 and SFP ports, and -40 to 75°C wide operating temperature range to fulfill the special needs in harsh environments. With variety heavy industrial certified, this switch is a perfect choice for harsh environments, such as industrial networks, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), military and utility market applications.
